Greetings!
I know it's been two weeks (and a day), but we've had LOTS of snow. LOTS of snow means canceled classes. And canceled classes means time to play! I didn't get my spare Wednesday window to write.
However, due to the snow, I don't have much to write about. Things keep getting canceled. LIke the chocolate tasting Common Hour. The Free Hour on Tuesday is not all that free either. Everyone has jumped on it and now it's a really, really full hour in which one must sometimes make heartbreaking decisions. For example, this Tuesday was both the rescheduled chocolate tasting, the fascinating bio lecture worth extra credit, AND my physics exam. Guess which one I chose to attend?
I went home last Friday, despite the snow, in order to finally start growing up financially and get a bankcard. Unfortunately, they couldn't give it to me anyway and it will be two weeks before they mail it to me. At my house. In Waynesboro. But, Chad and I had a nice dinner with my mum and she loaded us up with more food than we can consume in a safe amount of time. And on the subject of growing up, Kim and I are still ferociously hunting for two more roommates for our apartment. It must be decided by next week.
On the HA front, the babies have been a handful lately. Chad was up all Friday night, I was up most of Saturday, together we were with a resident in the ER Sunday night, and I couldn't sleep Monday night, so he sat up with me. I had to escort the resident back to the hospital again on Tuesday and Chad is with them there as I write this. Dean Moreno took us to breakfast this morning as a thank you.
I don't keep a record of my life anymore, so I have trouble remembering what's going on. We've been watching the Olympics an awful lot here. It's constantly on in the common room. This weekend is another Ciao Bella Dinner, this time for Haiti fund raising. Tuesday is Tulsi Tuesday for Warians. And I'm attending the College Row roommate matching party Monday. That's about it.
I hope you're all well. I really need to keep up with you better, but this whole week has been spent catching up on sleep! Send me what times you can Skype. I'm still having trouble discerning the different time zones.
Love from Lancaster~
